I've been playing with PHP's PDO the last week or so and I must say I'm pretty impressed. It's almost an exact copy of the Perl DBI, which is good. That made me realize that Perl had it all figured out about 5 years ago. I'm surprised it took PHP this long to get a decent DB interface. Now all we need is some real unicode support and we'll golden.
