Had to rebuild my whole desktop machine today.  I tried to add one component to networking and it just freaked out.  I spent about 30 minutes troubleshooting it and realized that it would be easier just to reinstall.  I did a reinstall of Win2k on top of itself and was back up and running.  It's speedier now too.
