So I have a Samba server serving to Win2k, and WinXP clients... All the sudden samba completely stopped working for WinXP. Logs didn't show any thing, trouble shooting wasn't going anywhere. Found out that a security release was installed on the WinXP box right before it stopped working.

Updated Samba and the WinXP box works just fine again. Somehow a security release broke Samba. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm...
