I got this PHP book the other day and read it almost cover to cover it was very interesting. I skipped the chapter on graphics manipulation thinking that wasn't something that I'd want to do. I was wrong! I spent most of the evening hacking away at a PHP graphical counter. I found it quite fascinating and rewarding. I've learned a lot.
